Clay Bird Shoots
Rathmoy Estate’s Clay shooting a 10-gun experience, providing a similar experience to the signature Driven Shoots but using clays fired from cliff- and ravine-top areas created by the natural folds in the landscape.
Arrive the evening before for a BBQ featuring our finest Rathmoy Farms Speckle Park beef and fine wine. Relax after dinner next to the roaring log fire with a single malt whisky, a barrel aged rum or a vintage port. Or look up at the stars with a dip in the wood fired hot tub.
Shoot day
After a hearty cooked breakfast there’s an 8.45 am safety briefing, a run through the day’s program.
Two drives to start then elevenses, followed by another drive before lunch taken in the field or at the Lodge if the weather is inclement. We finish the day with a further drive.
At the end of the day we come together to give thanks to the team, and share a few yarns with new friends. A sumptuous formal dinner follows with the best of food and drinks. Late to bed for a well-earned sleep in crisp linens. Depart after a lie in and breakfast the next morning.
